Since our founding in 1978, Ross/West View Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) continues to pursue excellence in the field of pre-hospital care and has led the way in emergency service for the communities we serve.  The mission of the Authority is to deliver the highest quality of pre-hospital care and medical transportation to our customers.

Our services include the provision of basic life support, advanced life support, rescue services, public education and training, in order to promote the delivery of professional pre-hospital care throughout our service area and the Commonwealth. The unique value of the Authority is found in its greatest asset, the men and women who devote themselves for the health and safety of the communities we serve.

Twenty-nine full-time employees, as well as a large cadre of part-time employees and volunteer personnel staff the Authority’s fleet of five ambulances, two response vehicles, three wheelchair vans, and a rescue truck.
