Ross/West View EMS recognizes the importance of education and supports the employees and volunteers of our organization in their endeavors to attend classes, conferences and seminars, and to further their education through college. 

Ross/West View EMS is committed to the training and continued education of EMT’s and Paramedics and offers quarterly training weekends to our staff.  These weekends consist of classroom education along with medical and rescue scenarios which include patient directed vehicle rescue, rope rescue, hazardous materials training, and proficiency training.

The staff and volunteers of Ross/West View EMS logged over 2,500 hours in continuing education with an average of nearly 50 hours per Paramedic.  This is over three times what the Pennsylvania Department of Health requires a Paramedic to complete in a year.  We are proud of the accomplishments of our staff and volunteers.
