I was born and raised in St. Mary’s, PA where my family still resides. I moved to Pittsburgh to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences at Duquesne University. After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree, I re-enrolled at Duquesne and earned my Master’s Degree in Physician’s Assistant Studies. Following that, I completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. I currently work at Allegheny General Hospital as an EMS Fellow. I completed my Emergency Medicine Residency at Allegheny General Hospital.

I am currently a Captain in the Army National Guard and living in Ross Twp. with my wife Amy, who is also a Physician Assistant and part-time employee at Ross as well.

I began my public safety career back home in St. Mary’s joining the local fire department and also attending EMT class. When I moved to Pittsburgh, I began my career at Ross/ West View EMSA part-time while attending college. What attracted me to Ross is the great group of people to work with. There is a drive to better EMS and patient care that’s unmatched by others. The organization is unique, in that it offers a number of sub-specialties that members can participate in depending on their interests and experience, such as technical rescue, Hazmat, tactical medicine, water rescue, honor guard, etc.
